JUST A QUICK POST ABOUT SHOPPING AT CVS!!

gonna post this about CVS, it was a comment for somebody, but i always have people asking me about CVS, so hopefully this will help answer some of your questions!! if you have any other questions, feel free to ask, i will do my best to answer them!!

An ecb is something you get for buying certain products. look in the CVS paper or on the website, and you will see where it says when you buy this certain product, you will get ecb back!! for instance the eye shadow was $5.99 - $2.00 coupon i had made it $3.99 + tax, you have to pay that, but then you get back a $3.00 ECB, which you can then do a second transaction and buy the (3) .99 cents cards they will be $2.97 plus tax, use the $3.00 ecb to pay then you just have to pay the tax with cash (ecb's do not cover tax, only merchandise bought) then you will get another $3.00 ecb back for the cards....(( but right now there are 2 coupons out for the cards, if they are still available, one on coupons.com and one on the CVS site, which will make them free, so just use your coupons to pay, then pay the tax with cash, so you still have both of your $3.00 ecb's for whatever you want to spend them on, i always keep mine and roll them week to week, to get the most i can for free, just paying tax!! ((IF you have the coupon for the almay from the paper and the 2 coupons for the cards, you can just do one transaction and still get the (2) $3.00 ecb's back..but if you dont then do one transaction first then do the other so u can pay with one of the ecb's...it works this way on whatever the item is that gives back ecb's for the week!! it is always different and there are more than just the two!! check the site for the new sale which starts tomorrow!!

They also do a promotion where when you buy $30.00 worth of certain merchandise (( they have little green money cards next to them in the sales ad)) you will get a $10.00 money card .. you don't have to spend the $30.00 all at once, but it does have to be with in that week, because it resets with every new sales cycle. the $30.00 is before any coupons.. so if you buy your $30.00 and you have coupons for some of the products, say you have $10.00 worth of coupons, you would pay the $20.00 and tax and get back a $10.00 green money card!! you can also use ecb's to pay, which makes your out of pocket even less.

oh and a few more important things, first make sure you have a cvs card, they will give you one at the register, and always scan it before you start your transaction!! when you first come in the store always scan your cvs card at the red coupon machine, sometimes you get good cvs coupons from it, which you can stack with a manf, coupons, for even more savings! also, you can buy a green bag tag for $1.00, have them scan that during each transaction ?(they have to at least ring in one thing before they can scan it) after every 4 shopping trips using your card, you will get a $1.00 ecb to printout (can only be used once daily per cvs card you have) (you also have to bring your own bag!! (not plastic, like the ones you can buy at lots of stores, i have a cute pink one my daughter bought me for christmas says "mom" on it) Also make sure you go to cvs.com and sign up for an account and then sign up for the beauty club!! for every $50.00 you spend on beauty products, makeup, shampoo, hair color, etc you will get a $5.00 ECB!!
